Hi there! I'm Curtis and I'm an instructional designer, learning scientist, and educator. Over the past five years, I've had the opportunity to work in various capacities toward designing enriched educational experiences. My multidisciplinary involvement has inspired me to approach my craft through a holistic lens, respecting UX design and learner behavior as much as pedagogy and assessment.

I received my M.A. at Stanford in Learning, Design and Technology with training in adult learning, design thinking, and human-computer interaction. Before that, I earned my M.T. and Ontario Teaching credential at the University of Toronto in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning with a focus on curriculum and lesson development, authentic assessment, and learning theories. As well as being an avid multimedia producer and graphic designer, I take special pride in creating communicatively simple but compelling learning experiences.
